I also dont know french very well . i've learnt it for two years . it is difficult language so i cant talk too  proficient ;p i know some tenses and grammar forms :) I believe that Carpe diem is good motto. we should do everything what we like and what we want. I agree with this sentence a bit   :) I want to add sth to your motto  " Carpe Diem in moderation " :D You asked me what traditions were in my country. So in a nutshell I can tell you that in Poland many habits are connected with Christian's traditions :) For example we have a lot of celebrities. Then we spend time with our family , sometimes we offer gifts to each other .

If you will be in Poland in future you should taste our traditional deals , for instance : "PIEROGI" - i love it and my mum often do it  :) so i can send you a bit ;p  hehe .
