As the darkness spreads,
The night grows lonely,
Lying in seperate beds,
Thinking if only,
--If only he was there.
What happened to those times,
Up until the sun rose,
Sharing songs and rhymes,
Now they rarely exchange "hellos".
He's become a stranger,
Yet he knows her better than most,
She tries not to let this change her,
Though she feels almost,
--Almost like a ghost.
Even though she keeps on searching,
For the side of him she knew,
She's growing tired of looking,
And there's nothing else she can do
