Turkey

Let's list the possibilities… Laughing

1)Turkish people are idle

2)Turkish people have an eagerness to discover the world

3)English learning sites give you an excuse to meet somebody: "practice english"… This "i wanna practise english" card is useful to disguise your attentions. You know what I mean Surprised

4)Some Turkish boys somehow come across the pictures of beautiful ladies on e-baby and then recommend this website to his friends in the hopes they get in touch with girls that are very very willing to get them laid!! (I think I just shed lights on part 3)

5)Poor Turkish nation lack the ability to travel around the world and observe what are the other countries like… They hold on to friendship and english learning sites.

6)You should also keep in mind that such dialogues are widespread among Turkish ppl: "How could you improve your english that far?" "you need practise" Well, let's sign up for e-baby :) What are we gonna practise? Hi, how are you, where are you from, do you have msn?"  Laughing

In addition, we can't deny population factor. Turkey is among the most populated countries in europe along with germany and poland. Many people (especially in new generation) can utter a few sentences in english, maybe they are not aware that it is not enough to establish a conversation. Well, you don't have to improve english tough if all you need is "do you have msn/webcam?"

What a big traitor I am… No single patriotism in my post

Dear progression,

number 5 of your list is controversial. Wherever I've been in the world somehow I met with  Turks. My experience that youngsters speak English, but the older generation rather do German.

You're right younger generations speak english and previous generation took german as the second language (if you go back to the years before WW2 it was french)

Chinese outnumber anywhere… :) It's a matter of proportion

Progression,4-5 and 6 seem more logical when you come to know why Turks are eager to subscribe on this website.By the way, what is your motive?
