Steph:  Dude! Check it out. I saw this cool new short last night.

Derek:  Oh really? A short movie?

Steph:  Yeah. It was 15 minutes long and it was called Flip.

Derek:  That sounds like an interesting title. What was it about?

Steph:  Well, it was about this kid and his name was Flip. And he got a dollar from his gramma. This was back in the day, ya know, like back in the 70s. And, um, he was trying to figure out where to spend his dollar.

Derek:  Where did he spend it?

Steph:  Well, ya know, he looked in the back of the comic strip, or the comic strip books. You know what I’m talking about?

Derek:  Right, the comics.

Steph:  Like the Superman and Batman and Robin and all that? And they advertised for little toys.

Derek:  I used to look at those ads when I was younger

Steph:  Yeah. Do you remember the ones, like about the blow up mermaids and stuff you could order?

Derek:  Yeah.

Steph:  Yeah. So he did that and he ended up getting this like monster robot and it turned out to just be a balloon.

Derek:  Oh nice. What a reward for that dollar.

Steph:  I know. He was really let down.

Derek:  I would imagine.

Steph:  Poor kid.

Derek:  Poor kid.
