Hong Kong
November 13, 2008
What would make you ? China is stronger and stronger day by day through the Olympics Games and the first spacewalk. Have you kept your eyes out for the above things? I think all Hong Kongers do.
Some of the mid-forties may think those were not their business because they were educated by the British government. How about their children? What make them patriotic? In my opinion, teenagers always raise patriotic when the Chinese government did something well. I am one of them frankly. I think safe-less goods are the prime problem to interfere raising patriotism.
First of all, aiming to solve the problem, I suggest that the Chinese government have to upgrade the safe-guard to rebuild her image. Furthermore, the government has to make a clean breast when the problems happened. Give tainted-milk as an example, the government was censured for her handing because she tried to cover the truth. I think the Hong Kong teenagers do not only despise the businessmen’s cruel behavior but also the government.
Secondly, when the Chinese government is way back into full support, I suggest that the Hong Kong media to do something about the new China and asked for some artists to exert their influence to raise the teenagers’ patriotic though music and drama, etc.
Thirdly, while Hong Kong is nearby filled with patriotism, all schools have to take an action. Obviously, IT IS EDUCATION! I suggest playing national anthem every mornings and holding some culture exchange programmers between mother and Hong Kong. Moreover, the national day cannot just be one day off, it is better if one week off. Maybe these can bring about much more patriotism.
In conclusion, I think all the Hong Kongers love Hong Kong and china both, just less or more relatively.
