People cue in line to receive aid in L'Aqulia following Monday's earthquake.
Tearful survivors, many of them clad in pajamas and blankets, watched as bodies were pulled from the rubble in the medieval city of L'Aquila, about 120 km (75 miles) northeast of Rome. The quake killed more than 150 people, L'Aquila's fire department said late Monday.
Nearly 24 hours after the quake hit, authorities were still unsure how many people remained trapped in the wreckage.
"We think maybe 70 to 100," said Francesco Rocca, a spokesman for the Italian Red Cross. "We still don't know the exact number. This is why we are still working very, very hard at the moment."
Another body was found in the rubble of a student dormitory early Tuesday morning, and at least five other students were believed inside. But aftershocks hindered rescuers early Tuesday, and they have asked for additional equipment and expertise from Rome, authorities at the scene told CNN.
Italy's Civil Protection agency reported at least 1,500 injured and 50,000 without shelter.
BUONA fortuna per i popoli d'L'Aquila !! let's pray !! l'italia , mi manca tanto !!

hey, my friends ! happy new chinese traditional new year to all of you !! now ,i will introduce this special and the most important day for you ! (if you are interested chinese culture)Chinese New Year
Spring Festival春节(中国农历正月初一)春节的由来The Origin of Chinese New Year The Chinese New Year is now popularly known as the Spring Festival because it starts from the Beginning of Spring (the first of the twenty-four terms in coodination with the changes of Nature). Its origin is too old to be traced. Several explanations are hanging around. All agree, however, that the word Nian, which in modern Chinese solely means year, was originally the name of a monster beast that started to prey on people the night before the beginning of a new year. One legend goes that the beast Nian had a very big mouth that would swallow a great many people with one bite. People were very scared. One day, an old man came to their rescue, offering to subdue Nian. To Nian he said, I hear say that you are very capable, but can you swallow the other beasts of prey on earth instead of people who are by no means of your worthy opponents? So, it did swallow many of the beasts of prey on earth that also harassed people and their domestic animals from time to time. After that, the old man disappeared riding the beast Nian. He turned out to be an immortal god. Now that Nian is gone and other beasts of prey are also scared into forests, people begin to enjoy their peaceful life. Before the old man left, he had told people to put up red paper decorations on their windows and doors at each year's end to scare away Nian in case it sneaked back again, because red is the color the beast feared the most. From then on, the tradition of observing the conquest of Nian is carried on from generation to generation. The term Guo Nian, which may mean Survive the Nian becomes today Celebrate the (New) Year as the word guo in Chinese having both the meaning of pass-over and observe. The custom of putting up red paper and firing fire-crackers to scare away Nian should it have a chance to run loose is still around. However, people today have long forgotten why they are doing all this, except that they feel the color and the sound add to the excitement of the celebration.春联Spring Festival couplets春酒[wine brewed in spring] 春季酿制的或春季酿成的酒;也指民间习俗,春节时宴请亲友叫吃春酒春色满园[a garden full of the beauty of spring] 春日的景色充满家园。形容生机勃勃、繁荣兴旺的气象春山如笑[hills as if smiling in the spring] 形容春天山区风景的优美动人春山如笑,夏山如滴,秋山如妆,冬山如睡春节 The Spring Festival农历 lunar calendar
