The month of Ramadan is blessed month in which the Qur'an was revealed,

{إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ}

Allah said : “We sent it down on a Blessed Night: We have ever been sending warnings.”

The reward for fasting and praying in this month is so great, that the Prophet (pbuh), “Whoever fasted the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping for reward, then all his past sins will be forgiven, and whoever stood for the prayer on Laylat al-Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping for reward, then all his previous sins will be forgiven.”

قال رسول الله (ص) : من صام رمضان إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه

ومن قام ليلة القدر إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه

It is important to note that our relationship with the Qur'an in this month should not be limited to just the nightly Tarawih prayers, we must devote ourselves to studying the Qur'an outside of prayer as well.

    Ramadan is the fifth pillar of Islam .

 Muslims all over the world fast at holy month of Ramadan, it is the time when they all come close to each other and respect each other, it is the time Muslim's countries  stay awake at night.

During this month, donations, almsgiving and charity would be at its highest rates, it is the time for forgiveness and love. It is a wonderful month.

Joy ; that is true !

During Ramadan, every part of the body must be restrained. The tongue must be restrained from backbiting and gossip. The eyes must restrain themselves from looking at unlawful things. The hand must not touch or take anything that does not belong to it. The ears must refrain from listening to idle talk or obscene words. The feet must refrain from going to sinful places. In such a way, every part of the body observes the fast.

Ramadan / It's a time when  We are to make peace with those who have wronged us, strengthen ties with family and friends, do away with bad habits -- essentially to clean up our lives, our thoughts, and our feelings. The Arabic word for "fasting"  (sawm ) literally means "to refrain" - and it means not only refraining from food and drink, but from evil actions, thoughts, and words.

The messenger of Allah (pbuh ) said : connection with Ramadan : Do not fast till you see the new moon , and do not break the fast till you see it ;but if the weather is cloudy , calculate the month to be 30 days .

Yes , Tomorrow 20th july is the first day of Ramadan

Ramadan follows Shaban, the eighth month of the Islamic calendar. moreover Ramadan and Shaban do not have a fixed number of days. Each month can have 29 or 30 days, depending on when the first sliver of the crescent( new ) moon is sighted by the naked eye. If, on the 29thday of Shaban, the crescent moon is sighted, Ramadan has begun, and Muslims begin fasting that morning. If the moon isn't sighted that night, Shaban lasts 30 days, and Ramadan begins the next day (whether the moon has been sighted or not).

 Guys , last year we talked about ramadan & it was very interesting thing ? in this year also i really want to talk about this ! i want to know more about islam ? in fact , i have so many Q ??
So guys the first Q /  do you think today 20th july is the first of ramadan ?
