I'm sad today for hearing a bad news from my oral English teacher. He is an Australian and his name is John, who is a very kind and humorous person. He has taught us for more than one year and has good relationship with us.
However, his brother had an accident several days ago and injured seriously, therefore he has to go back to Australia immediately to look after him and his family. That is to say, John will leave us in two days and neither he nor we know whether we can meet each other again.
I was shocked when I heard the news on class this morning and that made me very sad. I'm sure I will miss John and although there will be a new oral teacher, he cannot be replaced.
I could do nothing to John but wish his brother to be well soon.

Actually, I knew nothing about cooking before I went to university. I like eating delicious food, especially seafood. My mother and my father both can cook food very well, but I was always too lazy to learn it, although I had determined to do it several times.
However, after entering the university and becoming tired of the changeless food of school’s canteen, I began to learn cooking by myself initiatively. I have a pan and electric utensils in our room despite the school’s forbidden. (undoubtedly I’m always careful and concern abut the safety) Sometimes I cook different kinds of simple food, like noodles, dumplings and porridge. That’s very interesting and enjoyable.
I decided to learn from my mother’s craft in holiday, perfecting my cooking skills. That will be wonderful!
