I watched a documentary of a singer named Angela Aki on TV yeaterday.  It showed how she has gone through the difficulties and become a singer.

She is a half japanese and half american, born and raised in japan until she was 15, and stayed in US untill 26.  After graduated a collage, she started to work in a comapany in US and sing in bars at night as well. She knew what she made her happy was singing but she was not sure if she could be a singer and make success, wondering how long she would continue to do this life.

Oneday, her boss came to see her performance, and later she was told to come.  She though that she was going to get fired, but he said

" Your music is really beautiful and have something touch to people.

You should pay attention to music. Take a chance on you."

She decided to make much efforts to be a singer and quite the job.  She came back to Japan and started to approach to music companies to get her come out.

However, it was very difficult for her bacause in japanese music industry, it is said that her age at the time 26years old is too old as a new singer, even half japanese is not easy to become a popular she was told.

With such situation, she never gave up, and oneday a person in a famous music company found her and made her come out as a singer.

Now that she is one of the popular singers in Japan, and she has many fans.

I feel that what she is special about is that she is writing the dark sides of the life once she got but that is telling us that facing hard time can make you stronger, and realy reach to people with massages and a lot of people can relate to.

In the documentary, she was talikng about what she actually did to make her dreams come true.  She wrote the hopes she wanted it to be real and until when she was going to make it and she always believed that she could do that and actually pushed her enable her to do to be a singer as much as possible.

Doing your best and putting so much energy on something is sometimes very difficult for a lot of people.  I was thinking that such special people can do that, but actually after watching her docmentary I thought that's possible for me.  Making pictures on your mind and putting the limit of the day to make it true, where you can think with realistically, that is getting close to you.

I've been inspired by her words and her boss, and I feel that it's pushed me to the direction I am going and I am jusut going to with confidence and actual imges and plan.
