1 Euthanasia is sometimes the only acceptable solution for someone who is
2 suffering terribly and has no hope of an end to their suffering. Why should a
3 human being be kept alive against their own will when the meaning of life for
4 him/her has vanished? The so-called ''pro-life'' campaigners try to drum up
5 support for their cause by insisting that euthanasia is little better than murder,
6 but they coose to ignore the fact that where euthanasia is practised, it is done so
7 only within very strict guidelines. Surely, in an enlightened society, a person's
8 right to choose should be respected in all matters, included death?
