I have joined those that just don’t care if you are allowed to dress or forced to dress or forbidden to dress. You don’t know the difference so it can’t make a difference to you. You seem to fear freedom so much you won’t even try to understand that your view isn’t the only view of what it means to free people when a nation forces it’s women to wear the hijab (or anything else). A nation that can force headwear can also force yellow stars and pink triangles-how can free people be forced to wear emblems against their wills? Any emblems, even ones you believe in. If she doesn’t believe in it, then how is it different?. If some who don’t wish to wear one are forced to wear one, that is oppression. You think it’s freedom. I am not surprised by that.
You pass laws saying they must be worn, France passes law saying they can’t be worn. You can’t see that is the same thing. Go be. But if you drag me in, I will jump in and babble.
