I have some doubts about writing date , month and year after on and in.

1. If I’ll write 3 January, I should place on or in before 3 January?

2. If I’ll write January 3, I should place on or in before it?

3. If I’ll write 3 January 2001, I should place on or in before it?

4. If I’ll write January 3 2001, I should place on or in before it?

You should place “on” before every date that mentions the day.. either it comes before or after the month
exemple: on january 1st, on october 20th, on 3/24 etc..

you should only use “in” when you’re talking about the month or the year, or both..

exemple: in 2001, in march 2001..
