Dave: The other day the police came up to Michael Jackson’s Neverland ranch in California and gave him, like, a cease and desist order. He has to close the ranch down because he hasn’t paid his employees for so many days, and he doesn’t have the proper insurance.
Taylor: That’s not really surprising. Isn’t he currently out of the country, anyway? Probably just wants to leave all that behind.
Dave: Right, yeah. He’s, talk about a star who’s, kind of, fallen from grace.
Taylor: Right.
Dave: Um, it was so great, in the ‘80s, you know. But after Bad came out, he just became strange. You know, the “Wacko Jacko.”
Taylor: Right, Um, I did like that song Scream of his, from the History album, you know, with the video with his sister. Ah, that’s too bad about Mikey.
Dave: Yeah, what’s happened to him? Neverland, it’s supposed to be this real fantasy, you know, place of indulgence. It’s got the go-karts, zoo, the theme park.

Michael Jackon’s Neverland ranch was a place for the “King of Pop” to escape the stress and pressure of the real world. Neverland, which is worth between $50 and $100 million, has a theme park with a ferris wheel, roller coaster, and other rides; a small zoo that has housed lions, giraffes, and apes; and a private movie theater.
