Have you ever had a stressful vacation? Maybe you got lost when you tried taking a shortcut? Or you weren’t very lucky and your wallet was stolen? Or you were stuck in a traffic jam on the way to the airport and you missed your flight? Even though you had plenty of things go wrong, though, it’s possible you still had fun. You got to visit awesome museums and eat delicious food. You met new people, and got to visit a wonderful new city. Your vacation definitely had its ups and downs!

When you have your ups and downs, that means you have good experiences and some bad experiences. Lots of things in life have ups and downs. Relationships have their ups and downs. Working at a job you enjoy will have its ups and downs. We are not exaggerating when we say that all of life will have its ups and downs. And that’s completely normal and totally OK!

Dominique:  OK, the relatively short walk did have its ups and downs, but Kelsey is certainly exaggerating.

Kelsey:  Exaggerating?! When have I ever exaggerated?!

Dominique:  Anyways… So, we parked in the far parking lot so that way, when we leave, we wouldn’t get stuck in a traffic jam. And then, we took a shortcut through some trees. And then, we got to the reservoir and had to go around to get to Andy. So, yes, the journey did have its ups and downs for each of us!

Kelsey:  It’s lucky that we made it.

Dominique:  Well, we had plenty of time.

Jordin:  We should wake up Andy. He made us get here so early!

Dominique:  That’s true, but…

Jordin:  Andy, it’s starting!

Dominique admits that her and Kelsey’s walk to the park did have its ups and downs. But, it wasn’t as bad as Kelsey described. Dominique says that Kelsey is exaggerating. Kelsey, of course, denies this. She never exaggerates. It doesn’t look like Jordin believes her.

Dominique says they did park in the far parking lot in order to avoid a traffic jam later. On the walk to meet Andy, Kelsey enjoyed a soda pop, relaxed on a bench in the forest, and then went down a slide. She even had time to pick some flowers. So, the journey had its ups and downs for both girls.

What are some ups and downs that you have recently experienced? Are you able to take the good with the bad?

Recently I changed a kindergarten for my daughter. Before she went to the kindergarten , she was very glad. But after three days she was at kindergarten, she began to unhappy.  She said she had no good friends as previous kindergarten . my feeling was happy and unhappy as hers as a mother.  Even there was a moment if it was a wrong that I changed her kindergarten. I felt depressed when she was unhappy although I knew this need a process to adapt a new environment for a child.

Yesterday she went out the school she told me she loved this school when I picked up her. She said she had several new good friends and had given each other the gifts. I felt some surprised and then happy. I knew she began to adapt the new school .

My emotions was ups and downs .

Sometimes I could be able to take good with the bad. But sometimes I couldn’t.
