The Smile of Gaza’s martyrs is one of Quran’s miracles

Prepared by: Sheikh Tariq Abdu Ismail

With an introduction by Magdy Abd-A lshafy

Man lives in this life and he must be leaving it one day, the moment of death to every human is undoubtedly fearful; it is either hell or paradise, nothing more than this.

So what about the moment of a martyr's death. Nothing could man give , if he loves his creator, far higher than his life. All of us claim that he love God- but who can prove?

All can speak, all can write , all can give poetic words but very few who can furnish strong evidence to his love.

Only a martyr can furnish his love by evidence .

Simply , when the courageous warrior refrain from proceeding when dangers looms, he pounces unmindful of whatever could happen to him, he bears nothing in his mind but" the pleasure of his Creator".

If he is generous in this sense , then God is far more Generous; there are a lot hadiths that shows how high andgenerous God's reward arefor those who met their martyrdom.

The first reward is that a martyr is , unlike all the dead, a live in paradise enjoying it and that what will be explained.

In Gaza war , one reliable source says:" While we were engaged with the enemy troops in the battle field, we found someone happily shouting a loud:" The paradise, the paradise with his finger pointing towards the sky and then he was silent as a bullet from the enemy troops penetrated his head."

The prophetic hadith says:" A martyr receives many rewards from God, the first is that he sees his place in the paradise."

This explains why that martyr shouted " The paradise, the paradise!"

Also the pictures you will see in the bottom of the page will lay credence to the prophet's Hadith.

Moreover and foremost among these rewards is God's pleasure with him,

Heroes, whatever strength they have, withdraw or escape when action fiercely break out , they escape death or the pains of wounds but the question is" does a martyr feel any pain when he is wounded?

The answer isplain "No".

The prophet says:" The pains that a martyr feels (because of his wounds) is same that you feel when you are bitten(by an insect).

Remittance of sins

No doubt the moment when some one dies is unbearable but what makes it even unbearable is the heavy loads of sins, soon he will stand before his Creator, how can he escape the black torture?

Nothing would avail him.

But in the case of a martyr, it is different .

The hadith says" ….and if a man loaded with heavy, numerous sins fights in the cause of God either (by himself, money) and he remains stable in the face of the enemy till he is killed, his murder will be like an eraser that removes all his sins, the sword( that kills him) surely removes all his sins."

Another hadith enumerates the rewards that the martyr gets as follows:

"God smiles at him (a metonymy reflecting the utmost pleasure of God), he sees his place in the paradise, he doesn't sigh when he is giving the ghost, all his sins are remitted except his" debts"."

Dead people are held accountable for the deeds they made the first moment they are buried in the "world of Barthek " ( a stage between death and resurrection) and are put to difficult test.

The question is" Is a martyr put to this heavy test?"

It is related that a man came to ask the prophet this question.

"Why are all believers put to test except the martyr?"

The prophet answered him saying " Enough testing him with the sword over his head."

So according to the prophet, the deride a martyr undergoes will avail him, he won't be put to that test.

There are still more rewards; the prophet says:" The soil of the battlefield won't dry from the martyr's blood before two wives from the paradise looms and make their way to him anxiously as they were two birds who lost the accompany of their folk, in their hands a dress much better than the life and its joys."

It is related that Gaber the son of AbdAllah says:" When father met his martyrdom, he was carried to the prophet maimed and dismembered and put before to him. I went to uncover his face but people prevented me then I heard a woman shouting, the prophet(SAS) addressed her saying' why are you crying? Your father has been shaded(hugged) by the wings of the angels'."

How great the reward, while people are crying he smiles, smiles happily because he received his rewards"

His sins are remitted( except debts)

God is pleased with him.

He sees his seat in the paradise.

He is, unlike all the dead, a live in the paradise.

You may ask :" Do you have any material evidence?"

Yes, I have; these are picture of some people who met their martyrdom in Ghaza wars; these are only few- we still have so many.

God says in the Holy Quran what means:" Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision. (169). They rejoice in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His Bounty, rejoicing for the sake of those who have not yet joined them, but are left behind (not yet martyred) that on them no fear shall come, nor shall they grieve. (170) they rejoice in a Grace and a Bounty from Allah, and that Allah will not waste the reward of the believers. (171) those who answered (the Call of) Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad) after being wounded; for those of them who did good deeds and feared Allah, there is a great reward. (172) those (i.e. believers) unto whom the people (hypocrites) said, "Verily, the people (pagans) have gathered against you (a great army), therefore, fear them." But it (only) increased them in Faith, and they said: "Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us)." (173)) verses 169 – 173(. Also according to Taoism :

Dead people showing a smiling face is not good, it is a sign of the dead person's soul not settling and being possessed by some higher level "beings". So the dead person's soul maybe "controlled" by some other "beings". This can lead to serious problems in the family later on that might cause bad luck, sickness, and death in the family.
