142 Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

Today October second marks the 142 Birth Anniversary of Mohandas KaramChand Gandhi a.ka. Mahatma(Great Soul) Gandhi

Father of the Nation(India)  and one of the greatest human beings know in the previous century, but will be remembered till humanity exists.  

I agree with you, he was one of the greatest human beings, or maybe the greatest one, and he will never be forgotten. He is not only important for India but for all the human race.

Yes, he is important for the human race. He was an inspiration to Black rights movement leader Martin Luther King , South African Freedom movement leader Nelson Mandela etc

He was indeed a very religious person, and the last word that came before he was assassinated was "Hey Ram"(Oh Ram) . 

He is a man for Humanity and not just for one community or an other.So  Lets not bring religion when we talk about  Mahatma Gandhi .
