How about Bossa nova ??

I’m one of the Bossa nova lovers but i’ve just listened to this recently.

My fav singers are Lisa ono and Olivia Ong <3

Do you guys listen to bossa nova ? What is you fav singer or song?

and How do you think about this kinda music?

Bossa Nova is a style of brazilian music but I gotta say: I don’t like it. It’s not the type of music that I listen to, but there’re some great singers, I can’t deny. In Brazil, during dictatorship period, these artists used bossa nova as a form of protest. There are lyrics really pretty and profound about it.

But hey, I didn’t know this genre of music was so popular overseas. That’s good, I guess :)

I like to listen the jazz music as well as bossa nova.:) And though I didn’t listen it too often for the last time, couple of years before it was almostly the only style of music that i listnened and enjoyed by it as well. 

My favorite artist in this genre is Eliane Elias. She is from brazil and she performs jazz as well as bossa nova. I would recommend her songs: ‘Call me’, ‘Photograph’, ‘Dreamer(Vivo Sonhando)’
