Hi. I need help.

usually I'm saying to my friends like below when I wanna say a joke, yeah especially to girls.

'you look beautiful. I guess you're in the upper 30% when it comes to beauty man! '

and this morning, I suddenly feels that it could sound a little awkward or even hard to understand

could you understand what I'm trying to say with that expression? do you have any better idead for this expression.

Hi! I understand your joke and I think it's funny. Laughing

 

You might want to say, instead of "the upper 30%," "the upper 30th percentile." This is more correct, although I can understand your meaning either way.
