Today, Steph’s cutting out of work early to go buy concert tix for one of her new favorite bands. What band could cause Steph to be so irresponsible? Check it out and see for yourself! Listen in and/or read along to find the culprit.

Beth

Steph: I totally have to go.

Beth: Where are you off to?

Steph: Well I’m off to go buy tickets for this concert that’s on September first.

Beth: Cool. What band’s playing?

Steph: It’s called Ladytron. And tickets are going on sale starting today at five. And the box office opens promptly at five so.

Beth: Hmm, Ladytron, I don’t think I’ve heard of them.

Steph: They’re a band out of the UK. Ummm, they’re a really great band. It’s all women and they play, like techno music with a little bit of, ya know, live techno, if that makes any sense.

Beth: Yeah, that’s really fun. I can’t wait to hear about the concert!

Steph: Yeah, totally. I’m very excited! They’re my favorite band right now!

So, my experience with this band Ladytron is pretty interesting. I first got their music from a random guy, walking down the street, carrying a 10-disk cd wallet. He gave it to me and said to enjoy the mixed cds he had made. With all the other cds, there was one called bleep squeak girls with people like Stereolab, Bjork and Ladytron. This mixed cd is so hip! Thanks random guy!
