I can’t stand it when people slam doors. It gives me the shivers. That’s probably my biggest pet peeve, though there are lots of things that people do that annoy me: my neighbor plays his music really loudly at night and telemarketers call my house every day.
I’m not the only one with pet peeves. Listen to John and Sarah talk about what annoys them.

Sarah |
John: Sarah, you got any pet peeves?
Sarah: Yeah, there are a couple things that really bug me and get under my skin.
John: Like what?
Sarah: Number one would be when I’m driving and there’s someone in front of me and they turn on their turn signal and they never turn it off.
John: Oh ho.
Sarah: So you’re following them for miles and their turn signal is still on.
John: I hate that.
Sarah: And that really rubs me the wrong way.
John: You know what really gets under my skin?
Sarah: What?
John: Is when someone throws, when people leave their wet towels on the ground and not hang them up.
Sarah: Really?
John: Yeah. Like, my sister will come stay with me and she’ll just leave her wet towels all over the place.
Sarah: That would be kind of annoying. You know what also really ticks me off?
John: What?
Sarah: Is when someone takes out the juice and drinks it out of the carton and then puts it back with like one swig left.
John: I always do that.
Sarah: I hate that!
John: I always do it.
Sarah: But why can’t you just throw it away? I don’t get that.
John: Because there’s still a sip left. I might want that sip later.
Sarah: Yeah, but your sip is pretty much all backwash.
John: So you don’t mind people taking a sip right out of the juice container?
Sarah: No, I don’t care about that. I just don’t want them to put it back in there when it’s basically gone.
John: So they should throw it away with the little bit at the end?
Sarah: Why not just drink the little bit?
John: So that really chaps your hide…
Sarah: Oh yeah!
John: ...when someone does that?
Sarah: Really chaps my hide!
