When it comes to love, you shouldn’t cut corners. But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a cheap date every once in a while. Going out to fancy dinners or attending special events like a play or the symphony can be a lot of fun. But if you want to save money and set a more relaxed mood, a picnic on the beach or a walk in the park can be just as romantic…and a lot less costly. Hear Amy and Dale chat about cheap dates.

Amy

Dale: Do you like going on a cheap date, or do you like going to the fancy restaurant type places?

Amy: Well, I like pretty much any kind of date, but I think both have their time and place.

Dale: Like what about the first date?

Amy: Hmm. Well, usually on the first date, that’s tough because on the one hand you want to impress your date, so you want to take her to a nice restaurant. But on the other hand, something a little more casual can be better. I mean, you don’t want to cut corners, but something like a picnic or going for happy hour somewhere can be really fun and relaxed.

Dale: There are some nice restaurants these days that have happy hour and they’re actually low cost, but it’s the time frame, like at 3 to 6.

Amy: Well, my problem is if I go out to happy hour on a date, it’s supposed to save money, but then you always end up having a couple drinks and deciding to just go out to dinner afterwards or go to a movie or something. So it can end up costing more.

Dale: Would you be annoyed if somebody decided to take you on the cheapest date possible on the very first date?

Amy: I would be a little annoyed, I’m not gonna lie.

Dale asks Amy if she likes cheap dates. Amy says that she likes going to nice restaurants, but she also enjoys dates that are less expensive and more relaxed. For a first date, she thinks it’s important for the guy to do something special to impress his date. But if he does something too fancy, it might not be comfortable.

Amy likes going out to happy hour for a cheap date. Dale agrees that you can get good food at a low price at happy hour, but he wishes more restaurants had a later happy hour. Amy admits that when she goes out for happy hour, she often ends up doing something else afterward, so it ends up being an even more expensive date.

Even though Amy enjoys cheap dates as well as expensive dates, she says she would be annoyed if a guy took her on a really cheap date for their first date.

For the first time date,i can remeber clearly,i remember i m really a poor guy at that time,i have on money and almost anything i don’t have ,but i love one girl and the girl love me also,we r fall in love eventually,eveytime ,we are dated in some free place ,like publice garden,tea shop and country down,because we have on much money ,so we have to choice some place like that,we preparing some food and take some kitchenware go out to mountain for picnic,we are feeling very happy at that time even though we have no much money ,but still feeling more romantic,all we have to do is loving,just don’t care anything,for now ,i still don’t like choice city to date,also like go out to countryside and some place which have less people here to date,i like quite and i like save money ,even thoug i m not poor anymore,but i hate crowd forever.

For the first date, I think it depends from what the goal is.

If somebody looks for a girl- or boy-friend, than it makes sense to start the first date with a little present, little smalltalk while walking or by cup of coffee. Then if you understand each other well, then a candle-light location in a restaurant make sense. Then it doesn’t matter if you have catched a happy hour or have an expensive date. Then have other things more priority.

I think the date place impress me or not for a short time of the date, but the most important thing that will remain in my mind the partner’s personality, his talk and his thinking.

Actually , I think that every body in love dont interested the place , the important thing is (( we are alone ))

may be your date make in your room !! , car or a simple garden …

But in any case you must have some money , NOW the terms cheap & expensive depending on the money you has ..

Well, I think both kind of dates are good in their place, expensive date are fun, fantastic, while cheap dates are a bit simple I guess, so expensive date can be a great idea, but people usually cant afford.

The place is surely important when u meet somebody. It happens to choose romantic spots more than ordinary ones in order to better make the acquaintance of a person. A solitary place is certainly more romantic and more elegant.

most men want to impress their partners, not thinking of cutting corners. next time when they think of their future, they can begin to think of saving money. a restaurant can give happy hour , but it’s not all day. it has time frame. choose costly restaurant later..^^
