Go Super to Listen Go Super!

Good listeners make good friends. Someone who talks constantly about himself and never asks any questions may seem boring and selfish.

On a date, it’s especially important to ask questions, listen to the other person, and not talk too much about yourself. Joshua Jackson did just the opposite on his first date with Diane Kruger. It’s surprising she gave him a second date after he chewed her ear off.

When you chew someone’s ear off, you talk on and on and on…and on. You don’t let the other person get a single word in, or pause to ask her about herself.

Sometimes we call a person who always chews people’s ears off a “chatterbox.” You might also say that someone talked your ear off. But saying that someone chewed your ear off is an even stronger way to say that he just wouldn’t shut up.

Do you like to talk a lot? Has someone ever chewed your ear off on a date? What else should you try not to do on a first date?

“Please, don’t be shy. Be brave and unlocked.

Come on! Let us start an endless talk.

I never mind if you chew my ear off

Talkative people are my weakness and love”

“Chew someone’s ear off” sounds so sweet to me because it never annoys me. I’m always ready to listen to any subject person talks non-stop about. I don’t even mind about one-sided conversation. I mean when my friend, kin or sweetheart talks too much about himself and don’t let me the possibility to say a single word. : )

Do you know what is my nickname at the office? :D  It is “Lesya-big ears” :D Visually my ears are in their normal size but  as for the stories and information my colleagues bring to me, my ears are oversized :D . My colleagues know if they need somebody to talk too they just need  to knock on the “Lesya’s -big ears” door. :D

“Has someone ever chewed your ear off on a date?” – my answer is a firm “yes”.  Subconsciously, whole my life I was looking for a  man who can chew my ear off. Talkative men have all advantages to steal my heart than the silent ones. ;)

I’m recollecting now how my sweetheart and I sat a record on our first three-days date! :D We chewed each other ear off during three days non-stop and we both were happy! Moreover we had not even noticed that our ears were completely chewed. ;)

This slang is useful to me. I will take it to my collection of the slang words I use often.Smile

I’m a chatterbox. And always talk :) and don’t mind if somebody talk my ear off.  I jsut feel the energy of the person who talks a lot and it’s so interesting to look at the world through somebody’s eyes. You just ask the question and a person just keep on talking and there’s no awkward moments of silents.  So I’m all ears :) I think, on a date, if a couple has got mutual feelings, then nothing should make you nervous. Love is blind and such a trifle as being a chatterbox won’t be a problem ;) Just listen Smile

Talkative, energetic, bright, unusual and straightforward :)
