Go Super to Listen Go Super!

There are many reasons that you might move slowly when you have something important to do. It might be because you don’t want to do the important task, and so you are wasting time. For example, you might drive very slowly to a dentist’s appointment, even if you are going to be late, because you are scared of having the dentist look at your teeth.

But you can also move slowly but with confidence. You might move slowly but surely when you want to take your time with something, because you think you will be better at the task if you don’t rush it. If you are walking across a dangerous hiking trail, you might move slowly but surely to make sure that you don’t fall. Or, if you’re in a new relationship, you might want to take it slowly but surely to make sure that you act with care and responsibility towards your loved one.

Singer Demi Lovato realizes that she can’t figure out who she wants to be as a performer overnight. She needs to take her time, and really think about it. She needs to take things slowly but surely to figure out who she wants to be.

Do you tend to take things slowly but surely, or to rush things? What is the value in being patient?

I have been patient lately. So I’m taking it slowly but surely in my relatioship. On the other hand, I do prefer rush things like learn a new language for instance. The more you study in short time, the better and the faster you will learn.

I´m rushing a lot with things and I see that´s bad because it doesn´t do any good, instead u just need to relax!

Rushing things can even slow them down because you are thinking less. It´s an inverse, you rush and at the end you want to go back in time

When I started learning English, I went slowly but surely so that I can reach my goal and now I’m really satisfied with my level in English. When I try to understand it, doing something slowly but surely’s fine in life, ‘cause if you try to go fastly in life u can just limit yourself in the midst of going fastly. I really enjoyed the lesson !!!
