“I tried to go to college, but I didn’t really fit in. I went to a really narrow-minded school, where people gave me a lot of trouble. I just looked different and acted different, so I left school.”

Musician Bruce Springsteen, speaking about being different than normal people (BrainyQuote)

2. Use - Learn how the slang is used.

Go Super to Listen Go Super!

John and Jacob are talking about music. John says that country music is the best and all electronic music is terrible. Jacob really likes electronic music, so he tells John that he wants to play some electronic music he thinks they will both enjoy. But John says no because he thinks it will be bad. John won’t listen to the new music because he is being narrow-minded.

If you are narrow-minded, it means you do not listen to other people and always believe you are right. A narrow-minded person won’t change his or her opinions, even if it is obvious that another answer is possible. Some people get ideas in their heads and decide that has to be the only way. This type of thinking is very narrow-minded.

Musician Bruce Springsteen says that he went to a really narrow-minded college, and he didn’t like that. He thinks it is hard to go to a school where they won’t let one be oneself, so he left.

Do you know any narrow-minded people? How do you talk to them?

When you don’t learn the native language of the country you live in.

When you accept the world through only one channel and believe all those lies the channel tells you.

When the whole world  says you’re wrong, but you stubbonly deny it.

When you see the speck in your brother’s eye but fails to notice the beam in yours!

You can talk to this people but will they talk to you? Many don’t, but those who will, will never get back to that topic they were in argument. Sad!

The world is proggressing, developing, taking on new laws, signing new deals for the better, calmer, piecefull living where everyone is happy, everyone can achieve sth, everyone can travel, see the world! It’s possible! Just broaden your horizons and let leave the other ones who wants a change, who wants just to live better!  Don’t stay in their way with your stubbon attitude.
