Go Super to Listen Go Super!

Have you ever had a time when you felt sad or let down? Maybe, it rained on a day when you had a special event planned. Perhaps, you did not get the job you wanted or were passed over for a promotion. Or maybe, your car broke down on the way to work. It can be difficult to deal with disappointment. You must have been upset! In fact, you probably felt really bummed.

We use the expression “bummed” or “bummed out” to describe feeling sad or disappointed. Actress Melissa McCarthy can’t believe how lucky she is to be cast in the new Ghostbusters movie. She is afraid it is all a dream! She says that when she wakes up, she will be super sad!

Like a2020, a walk in fresh air and between trees can cheer me up. Or maybe someone wants to cheer me up and surprises me with a small bar of chocolate or an icecream scoop, or maybe just a piece of good news to raise my mood.
