1. Definition - Study the definition.
focusing only on one thing; unable to think about anything else
2. Use - Learn how the slang is used.
Andy is getting ready to ride a train, and the train track reminded him of the expression one-track mind. Just like a train can only go in one direction on its track, a person with a one-track mind can only think about one thing (or at least, it feels that way).
Having a one-track mind can be helpful sometimes because it means a person can focus really well. But it can be bad if a person needs to be flexible and do many different things. Do you have a one-track mind? How do you focus on your projects?
