Joe:  Miguel, I saw a horrible movie this weekend.

Miguel:  What movie?

Joe:  I saw Pearl Harbor.

Miguel:  That was horrible?

Joe:  It was horrible.

Miguel:  I can’t believe it because it gets so much hype you know I thought it, it just had to be good.

Joe:  You know the only good part about that movie honestly was, ah, when the planes were coming in and bombing. It looked completely real. I found myself feeling like I was right there on the deck of the ship.

Miguel:  Oh no way! That’s cool.

Joe:  It was real cool but the acting was just it was too much, it was totally..

Miguel:  Over the top?

Joe:  Over the top.

Miguel:  Oh. So who was the worst character in there?; like, who was guilty of the worst acting?

Joe:  I’d say if there was someone to be hauled off by the over-acting police i’d say it would probably be one of the Baldwin brothers.

Miguel:  Oh. Which Baldwin is it? Is it Alec Baldwin or…

Joe:  Yeah! Alec Baldwin.

Miguel:  Alec Baldwin.

Joe:  Yeah. Yeah. That guy is very chatty.

討論

Joe was obviously disappointed with the acting and actors in Pearl Harbor, but enjoyed the special effects.
Other blockbuster movies that were released on Memorial Day weekend included “Star Wars: Episode One” and “Independence Day”. Hollywood tries to have their best, biggest budget movies released around Memorial Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I guess they assume that most people won’t be working and will want to go see a movie with their family. I think a larger part of that idea stems from trying to get back the money invested in these multi-million dollar movies.
Do you like blockbuster movies? Which one is your favorite? Come to the “Movie Madness” message board and let us know
Until next week,
Nedra

My favotite blockbuster movie is TERMİNATOR I, yes, ıt had long dialogues. But ıt was nice. I watched poul harbour 2 years ago and I didn't like it as joe.It was terrible. I don't think so, Japonese people is bad people had been seen among the world history by mankind. Hundred thousand of killed by atom bombs in nagazaki and hiroşima. America killed them and poul harbour can't be it's cause.
