I want to tell something. It's a story entitled "REACHING FOR A STAR"

    Breep.... breep.... th, is tagline belongs to a cute girl when she participated in a TV reality programme Akademi Fantasia Seaso Two. She was just nineteen years old when she participated in the reality programme. Now, she is twenty-three years old. It has been four years since she become an artist and had to face many anticipations and gossips in life.

   However, her name is still remembered by the people in my country. This has proven that the girl who was born in Kuala Lumpur was able to maintain her reputation as an artist her talent explore in singing. She works hard to make her name to become a famous artist.

   Her name is Farah Diana bt Anuar. She was born on 25th January 1985 in Kuala Lumpur. She has six siblings and she is the third child. She finished her tertiary education in University Kebangsaan Malaysia in the year 2005.

   Young and talented now, Farah is known as a singer, actress and even a host of a TV programme. She started singing since she was sixteen years old. The first competition that she won was in 2001 when she was in form four. She participated a singing competition that was held by her school.

   Since then, she got more interested in singing that she decided to participate in the TV reality programme, Akademi Fantasia. In the reality programme, she learned the technique of singing. Then, she managed to go to the final round of the reality programme and won the third place in the reality programme. Her album was entitled 'Antara Dua'.

   Since then, she won many awards. Some of them are The New Popular Artist (W) Award ABPH 2005, The Potential Artist (W) AIM12 and Top 10 New Singers Prize in Festival Music Asia in Shanghai in the year 2005. On the other hand, she is also an actress. She has acted in dramas and film. Some of the dramas were 'Akademi' and 'Popular', while the film in which she acted is 'Man Laksa'.

   Her stars are shining brightly. Again, she is trusted to become an ambassador of 'Power Root' for four years and "Syahirah' for two years. She is also the spokesperson of sanitary product 'Intimate' for two years. Farah is also hosting a TV programme, 'Rasa Halal Orient' for Astro Oasis. According to her, the programme has entered season four. It is a cooking programme, concepted on travelogue that introduced various types of 'halal' food from other countries including China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

   She is my idol because of her talent in singing, acting and hosting. She is also beautiful and successful woman.
