THE FIRST CONDITIONAL
eg: if it rains, i'll stay at home.

eg:Unless i hear from you, i'll come at 9pm.
*I'll take my umbrella, in case it rains.
THE SECOND CONDITIONAL
eg: if i saw a ghost, i'd run away.

If+ past simple would+ base form of verb
eg: If i won some money, i'd travel around the world
*The second conditional is used to express a hypothetical condition and its probable result.
*The condition can be possible in theory, but improbable in practice.
eg: If i were a bird, i'd fly to you.
*The second conditional can express advice.
eg: If i were you, i'd have a rest.
THE ZERO CONDITIONAL
eg: if you hit ice, it melts.
Form
If+ present simple, present simple
The zero conditional expresses conditions that are always true.
IF means whenever or when
eg: Flowers die if you don't water them.
